Managing Conversations and Participants

This article explains how to manage conversation settings and participants in eKool conversations. These options are available to users who have permission to manage the conversation (for example, the conversation creator or school staff).

Conversation Settings

  1. Open the conversation.
  2. Click the conversation settings icon (i)
  3. Select Conversation settings.

You can change the following settings:

  • Change conversation info: Edit the title and profile image
  • Clear conversation: Delete posts from your own view. Others will still see them
  • Leave conversation: Remove yourself from the chat. If you're the only admin, assign someone else before leaving
  • Disable replies: Turn off replies for announcements
  • Mute conversation: Turn off notifications
  • Archive conversation: Move it to your archive view. It won't disappear for others

In private chats and conversations where you are a participant, not all chat settings are available.
