Student data page - Study book

On the student data page, you can see the student’s basic information, school enrolment details, curriculum and class, and graduation certificate data.

Good to know!

Student and parent data cannot be edited from the Study Book. Changes must be made on the student’s card in the schoolyear view or in the student profile under the Gallery page.

 

How to open the student data page?

  1. Open the Study Book.
  2. Find the student in the list.
  3. Click on the student’s name.

The student data summary page will open.

What information is visible?

The following is displayed on the student data page:

  • Name and personal identification code (in the Study Book header)
  • Editable data block:
    • Student number
    • Place of birth
    • Home language
  • Student contact details
  • Parents (with active role)
  • Curriculum and class
  • School level and graduation certificate data

If the student has transferred from another school, their previous grades can be added to the Study Book.

Adding a parent

In the Study Book, the class teacher or principal can add a parent who does not yet have a parent role in eKool.

Attention!

Adding a parent in the Study Book does not automatically grant the parent access to the child’s academic information.

 

To add a parent:

Open the student data page.

  1. Go to the parents section.
  2. Click +Add.
  3. Select the parent’s role (e.g. mother, father).
  4. Enter the parent’s name in the search.
  5. Click Search.

If you find the correct person:

  1. Tick the checkbox next to their name.
  2. Click Add.

The parent will be added to the Study Book and linked to the student.

If you cannot find the correct person:

  1. Click the link If appropriate parent not found, add new guardian.
  2. Fill in the required fields.

Required fields:

  • Role in relation to the child
  • Name
  • Personal identification code
  • Country of issuance

All other fields are optional.

  1. Click Save.

Editing data

Student and parent basic data can be edited:

  • On the student card in the schoolyear view, or
  • In the student profile.

If you need to change, for example, a parent’s address or contact details, do it on the respective person’s card.
